Hour of Code Israel
An initiative to engage Israeli kids with technology with at least one hour of coding activity. This is achieved through a network of events organized by anyone, anywhere,
The Hour of Code initiative started by code.org, is now a fully international campaign, engaging millions of kids around the world with coding, for one week every year.
In Israel, more than 200,000 students participated in the Hour of Code 2020, and got to experience at least one hour of a coding activity, learning about technology and the high-tech world through play. Every teacher, parent or student can organize their own Hour of Code event, using the materials and activities provided in the website we created for it - hourofcode.co.il.
On the website, kids can easily explore different coding activities, translated and adapted to the Israeli audience, and event organizers can find everything they might need - from a guide, through videos produced by Wix, to assets they can use to promote their events.
